Our Story
Weave Family Solutions Ltd (WFS) was founded by Genevieve Claire Marie Sang-Yum, a passionate advocate for the Pasifika community with a strong background in social work and family violence prevention.
Inspired by her Samoan and Chinese heritage and the values of love, respect, humility, and honour, Genevieve established WFS to address the unique challenges faced by Pasifika individuals and families in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Genevieve's journey in social work began with a Certificate in Community Skills, followed by a Bachelor of Social Work. Her dedication to continuous learning led her to pursue a Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work Supervision, and she is currently completing her Master of Social Work degree.
